A Smash Book Blog Hop and a Cute Card

Okay have you ever seen a Smash Book? I not you must go find one and check it out. They are totally cool. My Mom got one for my 13 year old granddaughter for Christmas and I have wanted one for myself ever since. Well I finally got one last week and have started it. I so have to go get one or two more. So my first book is a Pretty Pink One.
I love all the decorated pages in it. I'm not sure how to approach this yet. I did start off by doing the first page and then the second page but I'm thinking that jumping around and using the page that fits my mood for the time is a much better idea. After all there are no rules. Here are a few samples of the different styles of pages there are.
I have started a drawer for smash stuff and will have to have another soon. I picked up some Smash Products yesterday when I was out shopping, Calendar pockets, Smash Pads, Smash envelopes, Tags and Tape.
I have been rummaging around looking for other things I have that might be appropriate for a smash page. Tons of possibilities.
I found this baggie of Chipboard pieces that I have had forever. Perfect.
 Here is my first page
And here is another. See I will add more to this I'm sure. Especially the favorite Words I Think Sound Cool.
So before I run off to buy a couple more Smash Books I have to tell you that TODAY If you head over to Krista's Blog you will find the beginning of a Totally Cool SMASH BLOG HOP. Krista is the Saturated Canary Artist that I totally Love. If you haven't seen her images then do check them out HERE! So do check out all the Blogs on the hop, you can find a list HERE and leave some nice comments, become followers and you have a chance to win some great prizes as well. Find Out What Smashing Is All About!
So I want to leave you today with a card I made a few days ago using one of the Saturated Canary Images. The image is printed on some Metallic Finish paper so it is a little difficult to photograph it.  I  used some Paper Studio papers and gave her some glitter and shine.
This one is closest to the colors but....

You can see the detail maybe a bit better in this one. I don't know, you have to decide.
Whatever This is a Fun Card.
I hope you all enjoy your day and join the HOP!
